German Offshore-Wind Initiative (GOI)
About us
The German Offshore Wind Initiative (GOI) aims to help German SMEs develop attractive export opportunities in the U.S. and other offshore wind markets at no cost to the companies. The GOI also promotes cooperation and the sharing of German experience and best practices.
The GOI will network at all levels to make the cooperation as fruitful, efficient and impactful as possible. The GOI takes into account and cooperates with existing German economic development instruments (e.g. German Energy Solutions, Energy Partnerships, GACC).
A win-win situation: All in all, business is generated for the German offshore wind industry, the target markets are supported by the transfer of German know-how, and a relevant building block is laid for achieving the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Toussaint Williams, U.S. Representative GOI, is pleased to connect U.S. and German companies and prepare the ground for mutually fruitful cooperation.
